New business development partner: Monika Rittner

Monika Rittner now supports muellerPrange with consulting new clients with marketing of print, online and crossmedia publications with the MediaMillion product line. Especially the supporting IT solutions and the respectively harmonizing operations, which are necessary for media enterprises to reach targets, are in the main focus of her consultations. Monika Rittner gained experience in the media industry for more than 20 years. During her career, she was occupied in advertisement sales departments of professional publishing houses, in costumer relations departments at agencies and she was responsible for substantial tasks with sales and product management. The optimal utilization of most different media CRM solutions was always relevant for success to Monika Rittner.

Advertisement complaints – you have never had them? Congratulations! However, if complaints should happen one day, one should be able to evaluate them. Because: It is all about lost sales. Your sales. In the scope of a workshop within muellerPrange, colleagues successfully extracted information from advertisement processing of our VM clients, in order to know how to support the advertisement system of VM. muellerPrange would like to thank all participants and we are looking forward to be able to offer the conversion of our results to our VM clients starting in VM 2012.

New business partner qualifications, new business partner profiles in words and pictures, retread sales reports and upgrading of the VM Executive Elements with competitor statistics are the selected new functional range of the component marketing.
Highlight is the intuitive and modern user interface “myVM”.
VM 2011 supports the user in all areas of the administrative and technical ad management through the new “AdSpecial Planning”, a new OM planning with quick reservations, expansions for a seamless flow of order data from source systems to VM, and a new document file in the order management.
The VM-C highlights are a new complaint management, the success tracking of campaign activities, automated order control system under the terms of the credit rating control as well as per the described highlights of the new business partner and Marketing functions.

muellerPrange VM-Roadshow 2011

130 amazed and pleased participants were attending muellerPrange’s VM-Roadshow 2011 in the Literaturhaus in Munich. To our theme DEVELOPINGFUTURE, new functions, applications and products were introduced –innovative business applications and sales strategies for the digital century were also addressed.

New with muellerPrange’s products is the VM-Surface, which is easy and original to navigate, as well as new functions for yet even more precise costumer profiles and developed functions for 1:1 marketing in advertising and sales departments. The ease and effectiveness of developing and saving quality data in CRM are simply impressive; this demonstrates a remarkable appreciation in product value, as guest speaker Patrick Franke of CRM-Specialists “Global Concepts” puts it. He particularly points out that Data Quality has already reached significant market value in foreign countries.

Other highlights were presented muellerPrange’s CEO Helmut Müller:
New web surfaces for business administration applications, muellerPrange’s new Mobile-Strategy, the new CRM-Connector, connecting VM with Facebook and LinkedIn, and finally a promising preview of the new “VM Sales” module.

A true highlight during the VM Roadshow was the introduction of the “Successful Selling in the Future” workshop, which was presented by author and sales consultant Stephan Heinrich with a thrilling lecture on sales strategies for complex media services. Afterwards, business-intelligence specialist Benno Eiwen demonstrated how muellerPrange’s new Diamond Server with regard to “Business by Algorithm” creates new data into optimal inspirations for activities in a flexible publishing house (of the future).

Especially during tough times of the media development, muellerPrange's solutions are higher in demand than ever before: In 2010 muellerPrange attained a new sales record. We are highly delighted about our business's uninterrupted profitability.

Furthermore we we would like welcome our new colleagues: Stefan Pemsel will support our business as account manager. He is facing the task is to further develop our tight relationships with our customers and partners. He used to be employed in an extraordinarily successful publishing company and was occupied with several positions within the organization. Additionally we would like to welcome Barbara Hölzl to our Product-Care team of MediaMillion. Her tasks include the support of product management and the insurance of quality. She brings editorial experience and simultaneously continues her studies at the BAW Munich.

Personalized surface, intuitive navigation and selection: “myVM” is a highlight for every user of VM 2009. Advertisement management is supported by innovations in new price models and special agreements. In the component Consumer/Commerce, VM 2009 is now the operating system for Web shops with subscriptions, books, movies and music with extensive functionality from inventory to an uncomplicated online payment.
Innovative technology: The new platform „4D v11 SQL” enables the VM’s spread on most modern Multicore-Hardware for even better performance and easier administration. Publishers with international terms of references are supported by VM 2009 through Unicode-Support. VM 2009 SP1 was already sent to all VM-Udate-Subscription-Costumers. First insights into the next VM version VM 2011

Times are challenging like never before. Media experience a paradigm shift and are in need of new tools for new tasks and business models. VM 2011 including all its innovations is not limited to being a Software-Update. It is a benchmark for up to date organization of modern media enterprises. With this roadmap, muellerPrange informs customers, partners and potential customers about planned developments and dates for VM 2011. The next version of the integrated media system VM 2011 will be presented on the market by the second quarter of the next calendar year, it will include substantial changes in fields like CRM, marketing and sales, advertisement management, subscription- and shop- management as well as Business Intelligence.

Especially innovations concerning CRM (e.g. sales-report management, sale opportunity management, offer management) and order management (e.g. digital order file, order-planning) emphasize the importance of this version.

Markets, customers, competitors and salespeople in the spotlight: muellerPrange expands the VM Executive Elements by advertising competitor analysis. The new reports, available from April 2010, add to the already existing advertising statistics. They provide information on market shares and are the basis for efficient market cultivation. In addition to the self-compiled data, the sources fort he analyses are datasets imported into VM from service providers: Lynx advertising research, VU Meynen, Toplist, Focus (Austria). The following standards are included:
