"Integration of VM and Microsoft Office based on web services and .NET": we thought that this name was a bit too long and inadequate to express just how extraordinary this product really is: muellerPrange has virtually created a new class of application software. "VM sputnik" is the name of the new product from muellerPrange. It allows users to research and edit the business logic and data of a company application, i. e. VM, in a standard office environment, namely Microsoft Office. No VM client is required to work with VM sputnik. This makes VM sputnik not only an enhancement for existing VM users but also the ideal tool for users who until now were not provided with VM access.

The new version of VM sputnik 1.5 has the following features:

Address research and editing (search, find, add, and change customers, agencies, people, companies, etc.)

VM document research and editing (search, find, open and edit documents that are linked to VM business partners and contacts in the VM letter file)

Document check-in (e-mails directly from Outlook; all other file types, e.g. Word documents, PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets and PDF files, are transferred to VM directly from a Windows Explorer shortcut to VM business and contact partners)

Useful and intelligent functions: for example generation of Outlook contacts from VM addresses or transfer of addresses from VM into Word documents, or context-sensitive address research in Internet Explorer.

Online and offline modes: all of these functions can be used online as well as without a network connection when you are travelling. VM sputnik and VM synchronise each other automatically or at the touch of a button.

VM sputnik is a component accompanying every VM Business and VM Enterprise license at no added cost or it can be purchased as a standalone for non-VM users
